Objectives
The purpose of this research topic is to provide quantitative tools for the evaluation of neuromuscular function during rehabilitation exercises and by means of Non Invasive methods. They will be applied in patients with RSI and iSCI that affect muscles from the upper-arm and forearm.
Main Goals
- New algorithms to obtain indexes that provide information about activity and fatigabilty of muscles from the upper arm as well as prognostic factors in rehabilitation, and information about CNS strategies for their activation.
- Design of an instrumentation and acquisition setup as well as experimental protocol for monitoring the neuromuscular function during different types of rehabilitations.
