RespiLab

Respilab

Respilab is a virtual laboratory tool designed to analyze the human respiratory control system and to illustrate mathematical modeling of physiological processes.

This laboratory is completely graphic and interactive, so it can be used to illustrate the behavior of human respiratory control system under certain circumstances or pathologies and the influence of relevant parameters in the system.

CardioLab

CardioLab

CardioLab is an online tool designed to study the behavior of the circulatory system. The laboratory is fully graphical, interactive, and can be used to illustrate the behavior of the cardiac control system under certain stimuli.

This lab allows students and researchers to gain experience that would be very difficult to achieve in the experimental field. The tool is developed, combining MATLAB / Simulink and Easy Java Simulation (EJS).

MV-Trainer is a tool based in mathematical models, developed to make easier the study of the interaction between a mechanical ventilator and a patient.

It describes all stages of system development, including simulated ventilatory modes, the pathologies of interest and interaction between the user and the system through a graphical interface implemented using Simulink and Matlab which provides a graphical programming environment that promotes modularization of the overall model into hierarchically smaller subsystems.
