Rosa Mª Fernández

 

Biography

Rosa Mª Fernández-Cantí received her Telecommunication Engineering Degree from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 1994 and she is currently attending the Doctorate Program of the Signal Theory and Communications department (TSC) at the same university. She is working in the multivariable controller design for power converters; and studying the usefulness of the Bayesian Inference and Decision Theory to the Robust Identification with application to the HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) systems.

Since 2006 she is lecturer in the TSC department. She is member of the Comité Español de Automática (CEA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

She is chief of the Electronic Control Systems (SEC) of the Signal Theory and Communications (TSC) department in the UPC. 

Teaching

She teaches subjects at the Barcelona Telecom (ETSETB) and the CIM Foundation. Her teaching subjects include: Control Theory, Industrial Communications, Distributed Control systems, Fundamentals and Applications of MATLAB and advanced Control (MIMO, Adaptive, Neural networks, Optimal and Robust).
